RICK MCINTYRE – Chief Executive Officer
Rick came to GWS in 2010. Prior to joining GWS, Rick served as counsel to many middle market companies in the areas of corporate and capital transactions and strategic planning. Before entering the private sector, Rick served as a United States Army officer in command of units both stateside and abroad, earning multiple awards and commendations over an impressive active military career. Rick holds a Juris Doctorate from Barry University, and MBA from Marylhurst University, and a BA from Furman University.
DERRICK CLEVENGER – Executive Vice President of Finance
Derrick came to GWS in 2022. At GWS, Derrick is responsible for finance, accounting, and human resources. Prior to joining GWS, Derrick spent 15 years in various finance and accounting roles within multiple global manufacturing companies. Derrick is an active CMA, holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a BA from Hanover College.
ADAM LAFFERTY – Executive Vice President of Sales
Adam came to GWS in 2010. Adam is responsible for oversight of the GWS outside sales efforts, to include the servicing of partnerships within the company’s distribution network. Prior to joining GWS, Adam served in various sales and business development roles for major organizations, culminating with the VP of Business Development role within GE Capital. Adam earned his BS in Business Management and Marketing from Butler University.
DREW STRAUCHEN – Executive Vice President of Marketing & Business Development
Drew joined the GWS team in 2018. Prior to joining, Drew spent his previous 18 years in the metalworking industry, working in executive leadership roles for global cutting tool and machine tool accessories manufacturers. At GWS, Drew is responsible for marketing, product development and national distribution. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Ohio University and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
RICHARD BOYLE – Executive Vice President of Operations
Richard came to GWS in 2022. Prior to joining GWS, Richard spent 17 years in various globalized roles in metal cutting and supply operations within Sandvik Machining Solutions. Before that, Richard worked in the automotive industry, covering die and mold, IT, and project management. Richard is an ECU, ETI, and ACC alumnus. He is responsible for the oversight and execution of manufacturing and supply activities within the GWS Tool Group.
DAVE NOVAK – Director of Systems & Integration
Dave came to GWS in 2020 from the acquisition of STF Precision, a specialty cutting tool business focused on PCD and CBN tools. There he served as Vice-President and owner from 2001 until the company was acquired in 2020. Prior to that, Dave worked as the North American IT Manager for a global agri-chemical company. He received his degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dave’s responsibilities at GWS include integration and management of all IT systems across the rapidly growing GWS footprint.
