Meet Kelli Harris, the Production Control Manager at our Northern Illinois facility, formerly known as North American Tool. In this position, Kelli manages the oversight of manufacturing practices, inventory control, and strategic manufacturing planning.

Depth of Knowledge

During her 15-year career, Kelli has been involved in a number of key areas, serving as Sales & Marketing Assistant and Purchasing Manager. At the time of the acquisition, she held the position of Production Supervisor. “My years of experience in diverse roles have given me the opportunity to learn about the many facets of manufacturing and the business structure”, she said. “Both of those arenas are helpful for balancing the interests of the organization with knowledge of the manufacturing floor needs as well.”

Helping Others Grow

Kelli has a reputation among her fellow workers for being a generous mentor who is always willing to take time to pass along suggestions and provide guidance. “I enjoy having the ability to provide strategic data to others about projects and performance,” she said. “It improves productivity in our operations as well as providing opportunities for individual growth.”

Kelli’s impact on her peers is undeniable and many have expressed their gratitude to her for taking the time to help with their professional development.

Always Learning

While her career has given her a wealth of practical knowledge on the manufacturing process, Kelli continues in her efforts for personal advancement. She is rightfully proud of the fact that she returned to college as an adult and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management Studies.

Leisure Time Activities

Kelli is an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and enjoys going to as many baseball games as possible. Her favorite Cubs player is Wilson Contreras.

As for vacation travel spots, Las Vegas is Kelli’s first choice, but she finds that exploring any new and different location is always a fun experience. Hawaii and Alaska are definitely high on her bucket list.

Kelli is also an enthusiastic golfer and takes every opportunity to hit the driving range or get in a few holes at local courses, or at scenic links when she travels.
